Jason S. Ruegsegger
March 16, 1980 – July 3, 2026
Jason's greatest joy was his family, whom he loved greatly.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who will be remembered for his kindness, humor, generosity, and unwavering love for those closest to him. He enjoyed music, documentaries, cars, road trips, spending time at the shooting range, and spending quiet evenings with his family.
Jason is survived by his wife, Tera; his mother, Jeanine Ruegsegger; his children, Brandon (Hannah), Megan (Benton), and Kayelee; his grandson; his brothers, Josh (Ali), Jared (Kristie), and Justin (Katy); his parents-in-law, Chuck and Karen Zohner; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and coworkers.

"Jason was a loving and caring son. He loved Brandon, Megan and Kayelee more than life itself, and would tell them often how much he loved them. He had such a good heart and was always helping someone in some way. ... He was a good man. We all loved Jason and will miss him so much. Love, Mom"

"I miss my dad more than words can hold. Since losing him, I’ve found a hidden grace in seeing how far his kindness reached and how many lives he touched. He loved people so openly, so shamelessly, and so completely. I keep finding pieces of him within myself... I love you so much, dad."
Jason was taken from us way too soon and there are many unanswered questions. There are nasty and untrue articles online and some suspicious circumstances regarding his arrest and his death.
