Jason S. Ruegsegger

Jason's greatest joy was his family, whom he loved deeply. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, remembered for his kindness, humor, generosity, and unwavering love for those closest to him. He enjoyed music, documentaries, cars, road trips, spending time at the shooting range, and quiet evenings with his family. Jason married Tera Zohner Teas on February 22, 2025.

Jason is survived by his wife, Tera; his mother, Jeanine Ruegsegger; his children, Brandon (Hannah), Megan (Benton), and Kayelee; his grandson; his brothers, Josh (Ali), Jared (Kristie), and Justin (Katy); his parents-in-law, Chuck and Karen Zohner; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and coworkers.

Family was everything to Jason, and his children were his world. The Jason we knew was not capable of the things mentioned in online articles. We look forward to a competent and thorough investigation by qualified experts.

Regarding his death, preliminary evidence points to suicide. However, this does not mean there were not several factors and numerous "coincidences" and influences that led up to his passing. His death should not be viewed superficially.
